Flushline delivers specialist drainage works at Mercure Hotel, Gloucester

Flush-Line has been carrying out specialist drainage works at the Mercure Hotel in Gloucester, combining cleaning, CCTV surveying and network mapping to give the client a clearer understanding of the drainage system and identify issues requiring attention.

During the visit, the team’s planned scope includes Picote cleaning, high-pressure water cleaning and detailed inspections of individual pipe sections. Together, these activities help establish the condition and layout of the network, with the team aiming to rectify issues while on site.

The video also offers a closer look at the equipment supporting Flush-Line’s work. Each van in the fleet carries a high-pressure water machine, while modified tanks provide additional water capacity. This reduces the time spent refilling and helps the team work more efficiently for the client.

For the CCTV surveys, a camera is positioned at the entrance of each pipe section before being guided steadily through the system. This allows the team to inspect the internal condition of the pipework, check for defects and record observations along each surveyed length.

Accurate reporting forms an essential part of the process. Survey information is recorded through the inspection equipment, alongside photographs of the inside of manholes and their locations. These details support a report that helps the client understand both the findings and where they sit within the drainage network.

The visit brings together Flush-Line’s practical drainage expertise and inspection technology, providing the hotel with clearer information to support maintenance and decisions about any further work.
